Proceeding from the university’s vision, which aims to build a vibrant society with solid values, in order to achieve a prosperous and sustainable economy, by strengthening the education system, and raising its efficiency to meet the development requirements of an ambitious country that guarantees quality education for all its children and residents and promotes lifelong learning opportunities, the Faculty of Educational Sciences was established in 2021 to include two programs under the umbrella of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, which was established in 1990. These are the Special Education Department, which was founded in 2007, and the Physical and Health Education Department, which was founded in 2018. In 2018, the Department of Curricula and Teaching Department was established to include the Higher Diploma program in Digital Design, which was also launched in the same year.

The Deanship of the Faculty of Educational Sciences looks forward to exploring new horizons that will make Al-Ahliyya Amman University at the forefront of Jordanian universities that keep pace with the developments and the needs of rapid academic development. Therefore, the faculty constantly seeks to renew knowledge management and planning for the best methods of contemporary scientific thinking to enable the student in the best way with the best expression to meet the requirements of society and the labor market with advanced pioneering skills.

The faculty is also working hard to achieve its objectives, the most important of which are: the application of modern technologies in the teaching and learning processes, the advancement of scientific research and linking it to national priorities and community service, the adoption of accreditation standards and local and international quality assurance, as well as strengthening the relationship with the local community and contributing to its development, as well as building effective partnerships with relevant institutions to support academic and training programs.
