The Faculty of Educational Sciences has been established in 2021 as the most recent faculty in the university. Its creation comes in response to modern-day educational needs and contemporary developments that have surrounded the reality of higher education locally, regionally, and globally. It currently includes two bachelor programs: Special Education Department, established in 2007, and Physical and Health Education Department, established in 2018. These programs have been withdrawn from the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and annexed to the Faculty of Educational Sciences. The faculty is currently working on introducing a new bachelor program called Classroom Teacher. The faculty also includes the program of Higher Diploma in Digital Instructional Design, which has been established in 2021. This program is a golden opportunity to schoolteachers to learn methods of converting educational materials into hybrid digital materials and to design digital educational programs, thus boosting their readiness to deal with the modern digital educational system.
