Mission

Empowering graduates to educate and qualify persons with special needs efficiently and effectively and developing scientific, logical and critical thinking skills, keeping up with scientific developments in the fields of special education, activating the role of students in supporting educational, social and psychological issues for students with special needs, serving the community, and promoting a culture of good citizenship.

Objectives

• Developing theoretical and practical experiences to educate and qualify persons with special needs according to the highest quality standards.
  
• Developing the research skills necessary to conduct research and studies in the fields of special education and linking them to the needs of society.
  
• Contribute to the development of supportive directions for the unhindered integration of persons with disabilities into society.
  
• Strengthening partnership between active community institutions and people with special needs.
  
• Empowering students and preparing them to work in special education centers.
  
• Enable students to apply the tests concerned with the diagnosis of special education classes.
  
• Developing positive attitudes towards special education.
